 that children are our greatest resource and should be treated as valuable by their
 families, communities and society. Too many children have to live in poverty and
 endure terrible living conditions and unspeakable hardships everyday. I believe
 it is our duty as citizens and especially as educators to help rectify this situation
 by making society aware of the horror that many children live in so that things
 can change. \par}

community? I believe it is my professional responsibility to treat all families 
and children with respect and to give them any resources that they may need to improve
 their daily living situations. I believe as an educator that all children deserve
 a high quality education and that families should be involved in that education
. I believe that it is my duty in the community to help educate others on what children
 and families need and to work with community members and my colleagues to help 
provide those services. \par}

Head Start for 15 years and I love my job because it enables me to feel like I am
 making a difference. I am a wife and a mother as well as a grandmother and I have
 always loved attending any activity that my children are involved in. I enjoy animals
