What a great classroom page you have put together. I like how it is focused on the theme students are looking at this month. Your use of colors make it easy to read and families would find all of the ways to extend what children are learning in the classroom at home very helpful. Your page shows the thought you put into making curriculum as accessible to families as possible. Well done!

This month we will be studying Farming. Many of the children are very intersted in farming as some of you live on farms and for those of you who don't your children are very interested in learning what their peer's lives on a farm is like. Farming lends itself to learning about animals, plants and planting, harvesting, nutrition and wear food comes from.

Thanks Erin, I agree more pictures would be good. For some reason the combination of my computer, our slow internet connection and pictures takes forever but perhaps I could add some from work.

I love your opening paragraph. Your page is thourough and explained clearly. Your belief in your program shines through and how you as an agent of the program will be serving families using communication.

Shawn your page is very colorful, breaking up the paragraphs and spaces; you might want to choose another color for the info below your heading, the light teal is very hard to see, or make the text larger-- it could just be me, I do need to get my eyes checked.
